It depends on the setup. With air, a latex balloon keeps its look for several days or even weeks indoors, and it's the usual choice for arches, organic garlands and columns (which are built on a frame rather than floating). With helium, a standard 11"/28 cm balloon floats for 8 to 12 hours; if you need it to last through a long event, treat the inside with a float-extending gel (such as Hi-Float) to multiply its float time. Use helium for ceiling bouquets and decorative releases; air for everything else.

We manufacture balloons from 100% natural rubber latex, a plant-based biodegradable material that breaks down naturally. We comply with all European safety regulations (CE marking) and our products are tested at SGS Institut Fresenius, one of the most respected quality laboratories in the industry. Polyamide (foil) balloons aren't biodegradable, but they are reusable: deflate them carefully through the valve and you can inflate them many times over.

The number refers to the approximate diameter of the inflated balloon: a 5" (13 cm) is used as filler and detail in organic garlands, 11"/12" (28–32 cm) is the standard for decoration and helium, and from 3 feet (90 cm) upwards we're talking giant balloons for real visual impact. In professional decoration, at least two or three sizes are combined to give the garland volume and rhythm.

Absolutely — that's their main use in the trade channel. Our latex has the thickness and elasticity needed for tying, weaving and stretching without micro-tears. For an organic arch, allow around 8–12 balloons of 11" per metre plus 5" fillers, and make use of rods, netting or balloon tape, all available in our accessories category. Metallic and crystal finishes add extra shine in photos and video.

Keep the bags sealed somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight: heat and UV rays degrade both the latex and the colours. Outdoors, bear in mind that strong sun dulls a balloon's shine within a few hours (crystal and metallic finishes hide this better). After the event, collect the balloons and dispose of them in general waste; never release them outdoors.

Our formats can't be split: if a product comes in a bulk bag (for example, 12 bags), the minimum order is the complete bulk bag, and you can also order a full case for a better unit price. If an item has no bulk bag, individual bags are sold separately. The price shown is the general rate excluding VAT; registered professionals see their own specific rates.
